The Institute for Chronically Traumatized Children (ICTC) provides training, supervision, consultation and research into diagnostics and system-oriented trauma treatment of early childhood, chronically traumatized children.
In Australia and New Zealand, the ICTC also provides treatment.
The director of the ICTC, Arianne Struik, developed the Sleeping Dogs® method with which unmotivated children and children with resistance are made receptive to evidence-based trauma treatment.
The Sleeping Dogs method is described in the book Sleeping dogs? Wake up! (Arianne Struik, 2016), also published in English (2019) and Danish (2019).
