Request or provide support

Are you looking for support?

If you are looking for help for a survivor or if you are one yourself, we have a modest list of social workers and agencies that have experience with victims of organized abuse and human trafficking.

Some people already have a therapist and a good therapeutic relationship, but they face a lack of specialist knowledge around this issue. If the therapist is willing to delve into this issue, half of the problem is solved. Ultimately, the therapeutic relationship is the most important base for getting through this properly. We are happy to support colleagues who want to gain experience in the process for their clients, by means of supervision and by organizing symposia.

Do you want to offer support?

We are looking for colleagues to add to our list of potential care providers with urgency. There are requests for support or therapy almost every single week. What is essential is that you have an open attitude towards dissociative problems and the willingness to delve into this topic. You may already have experience with complex trauma and with victims of organized abuse. Given the nature of the problem, we prefer that colleagues have treatment options within the SGGZ framework. We are happy to add you to our list!

Supervision

From the TGG Knowledge Center, we are able to provide supervision and support to care providers to a limited extent. Also, we help care providers who have had no previous experience with organized abuse and are – to their horror – confronted with this for the first time. If this topic manifests itself within a therapy process, it usually means that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is sufficiently solid to be able to work with this theme. Apparently, the client trusts you. We are happy to support you to bring this part of the treatment to a successful conclusion. Skype is one of the options to guarantee (inter)national coverage.

Should you be able to supervise, please let us know and we will add you to our list.

Informal care

If you offer informal care to people with dissociative problems or if you provide Personal Budget Relief Support, please let us know, so that we can also add you to our list.

Temporary shelter

From time to time, we receive a request for temporary shelter relief.
Separating yourself or a client from a destructive group is often a process of trial and error.
A temporary shelter for a few days can make a big difference to bridge troublesome days.
We would love to hear from you if you have options to shelter survivors, or if you know someone who would like to offer shelter.
